Skool
Perhaps not the most exciting of subjects but I must say that that is where the bulk of my time is going these days. To answer the question: I like it and it's going well :) And yes, I am a nerd! My favourite subject? Gross anatomy. Not like, ew gross, but like big gross, as opposed to microanatomy ;) So the first day of lab I was REALLY tempted to say "I see dead people". But my filter was on - PHEW. (Wouldn't that be embarassing - kicked out of anatomy on the first day?).
Checked out CMDS (Christian Medical and Dental Society) yesterday. It was a giant salmon bbq at a Vancouver home. The hosts are doctors who have been hosting CMDS EVERY week in their home for the past ELEVEN years. Talk about hospitality!
OOOH - in other news, I shall be in Edmonton Sept 23 - 25 for Icebowl (refer to http://www.uofameds.ca/) for more info. Come out and see me attempt to play hockey and fall on my butt. If you come you must cheer for UBC :D Hehehe. ASKies - come on out!! (erm i think the games are in sherwood park tho.. sollee :p).
