Maybe I Should Become a Chiropractor...
During my recent trip to Toronto I was brought to a housewarming party. Evidently I don't make too striking of an impression. Depsite the fact that I was introduced to the host and proceeded to have a somewhat lengthy conversation with him, I heard him tell someone (with some trepidation) that I was studying something to do with helping people. Later in the evening, even my name escaped him as someone he was talking to came over and asked what my name was.
That's okay tho, I'm not trying to say that he was obligated to remember me or anything of the sort, just sort of a demonstration of the type of evening it was. The next thing that happened was someone telling me that we must have met before for I looked very familiar. (No, not a pick-up line, he's married.) After explaining to him that I wasn't from Toronto and listing the cities I've lived in, he decided perhaps he didn't know me. Just as he was leaving tho, he figured it out and came back in to say "I know why I recognised you! You look just like my chiropractor!" This was stated in a voice of sufficient volume that all conversation in the apartment stopped and everyone stared at me and wondered "Who is she??"
Yep, I think I've found my calling. Do they give interview for chiropractry school? I want to answer the question "When did you first know you wanted to be a chiropractor?".
