Ephesians 1:17-22
Had coffee with someone and it really struck me what they said about how God must have brought me here to Edmonton for a reason.. it didn't just "happen"... I've been telling everyone that my reason for coming here was cause I got in to the school.
But, I think, it's true.. stuff doens't just happen. There's a reason for it.
I don't know yet what my reason for being here is.. but , getting to something else the person I had coffee with said (ah, yes, a wise individual indeed)... I want to be challenged here, to find out the reason.
So, God... I want to be given a Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that I may know You better. I pray also that the eyes of my heart will be enlightened in order that I may know the hope to which You have called me, the riches of your glorious inheritance in the saints, and Your incomparably great power for I who believe. That power is like the working of Your mighty strength, which You exerted in Christ when You raised him from the dead and seated him at Your right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every title that can be given, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And You placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

A Major Imminent Dilemma
Last week I watched the season premier of ER. I have no idea what other people thought about, but since I'm a die-hard ER fan, it made me happy :) What made me EVEN happier was the fact that for some reason it plays at 8pm here in Edmonton (and again at 10)... I guess I have some east coast channels or something. Anyways, so (no I didn't watch ER twice) I watched CSI as well - it turned out to be Part 1 of 2.
I came home today and it was just a little after 8, and you know, I couldn't possibly start watching part way into the episode!! No, that just wouldn't do. So I check the listings to see what channel ER will be on (I haven't figured out which channel is which yet...) .. and TO MY HORROR I discover that ER and CSI are on at the same time!!
Now, my VCR is built into my TV so I have to watch what I tape... so.. dilemma.
What's a girl to do?
... yes, such are the things I concern myself with...
