Fertility Festival NO
so today was a festival called kanamara. go to this dude's website and you'll what it's all about! i was going to go but didnt quite make it as i was delayed having lunch at an australian restaurant -- the Outback :D
okay this minilaptop with its miniminiminikeyboard is making me crazy and i feel i can blog no longer. sayonara my loyal fans! (oooh what timing! my internet time has just run out :))

Sayonara Shanghai
So, I have decided to be wise and cancel my trip to Shanghai... I wish I could swap a trip to Montreal for a trip to Shanghai but don't think that two days of travel for a four day visit is really viable! I'll have to leave the visit to Montreal till sometime later in the summer -- but I promise to try my vewwy vewwy best to come see you all! (um, incidentally -- WHO IS POPEMAN? I need to know if I'm gonna come stay in your basement huh? )
Anyways, so instead of Shanghai it looks like I'll be taking a little trip around Japan -- possibly to Okinawa. Have any of your heard of Okinawa? I hadn't heard of it before I came here :) Anyways, looks like I'll be going for a little beach side holiday instead of a cultural experience in the motherland...
I'm currently accepting predictions for when the SARS threat will cease to be... well.. a threat.... Not to demean the whole situation and make it seem like my travel plans are the focus of the world's problems but... WHEN CAN I GO TO CHINA? *sob sob*
